Great, great park! Lots of space, trees, grass covered eating areas, and is adjacent to the pool. The playground is fantastic...one of the best I've seen.

It was the beginning of my journey, to where? I didn't know at the time. My stomach was growling and I desired a shady spot to eat cold leftovers and do some modest stretching after hours of driving. I found this small oasis easily from highway 20. If this town was indeed the Ireland of Nebraska the Irish run a tight park. Clean, even the bathrooms.

I forked my lunch into my mouth I gazed eastward. This park was the first of a line of flat stepping stones taking me across a river. How wide? How rocky? How swift was the current? I did not know.
